Milo is in their second year of an acting degree at Concordia, and going on 10 years since they started acting. As the child of a hippie mother, starring in Hair is the fruit of their upbringing. They are very excited to bring Claude to the stage as a trans nonbinary actor, in their Montreal debut. What a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of acting! :)

Berger
Julien DaSilva (he/him)

Hello everyone! Julien is originally from Northern Virginia in the United States but has recently moved to Montréal and is now a first year student studying acting at Concordia. He is loving the city and the snow so far! Julien loves performing musicals and has been in numerous shows including being the Baker in Into The Woods, but this is his Montréal debut! He is so grateful for the opportunity! He would like to give a shout-out to all of his amazing friends and family back home and his new friends here too! Julien is so excited for this show!:

Sheila
Davis Dewan (she/her)

I’m currently in my second year (U1) at McGill, majoring in Psychology, and pursuing a double-minor in Behavioural Science and Gender, Sexuality, Feminist and Social Justice Studies (GSFS). Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, I have been singing my whole life and spent 10 years training with the Pop-Shop Performing Arts Academy before moving to Montreal. I have a passion for all things theatre and have been playing guitar and writing music for almost a decade. Nothing is more exciting to me than exploring new genres and styles of music and creating what I love.

Sean Ryan (he/they)

Sean Ryan (he/they) is a queer performer who specializes in acting for the theatre. They started their journey on Treaty 13A territory, land which was and remains under the care of the Mississauga of the Credit First Nation. Now in Tiohtià:ke, the unceded territory of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka people, they find themselves beginning a career that centers around love, death, decolonization, queerness, clown, and the chaos that comprises a life. Since they were small, they have always been drawn in by spectacle. Through their practice they hope to cultivate and create the spark that makes a room collectively and impulsively hold its breath.

Dayjan Lesmond (he/him)

Dayjan Lesmond is a compulsive hat-wearer and multidisciplinary artist that won’t stop talking about mental health. Along with recent commercial and screen roles he’s Not Allowed to Talk About, he wrote and staged his first musical, Back and Forth, at the 2022 Toronto Fringe Festival, and has performed in productions such as Oklahoma, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Gentleman Clothier, and more. He’s pleased to make his Montréal debut, and excited to explore Québec’s theatre scene.

Jeanie
Riley Wilson (she/her)

Riley Wilson is an actor, theatre-maker, and multidisciplinary artist dedicated to creating contemporary and inclusive theatre in Montreal. Alongside her acting background, she is an emerging playwright, and is a co-founder of Dirty Mirror Collective, a theatre company with a plan to dissect the nitty gritty parts of life. A graduate of the John Abbott Professional Theatre Program, she extends her reach into many different mediums including film, television, and voice acting. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to return to her first love, musical theatre, alongside such an incredible cast and team.

Dionne
Vanessa Richarson (she/her)

Vanessa Richardson is a fourth year student at McGill University studying philosophy, cognitive science, and music. She has been a solo artist for several years, currently writing and producing tracks under the name Dawn Cadence (@dawncadencemusic). This will be her first AUTS show. Aside from music, she is passionate about social justice and community outreach. Last year, she founded an organization called the McGill Black Students Financial Society (@bsfsmcgill) to promote financial literacy, professional development and the growth of Black-owned businesses in Montreal. As someone who loves both musical theatre and activism, she is very excited to be joining the cast of Hair this year.

Crissy
Claire Levasseur (she/her)

Claire is a second-year Bioengineering student at McGill University. This is her first year with AUTS, and is thrilled to be a part of this production! Coming from New York, Claire grew up on the stage and the LIRR. She has performed Off-Broadway and in Equity productions (Annemarie: Number the Stars; Grandma Addams: The Addams Family). She was also seen on/off stage with the On Tour Company, as Head of Lighting & Sound and an avid performer (Emily Webb; Our Town; Puck; Midsummer Night's Dream). She loves her rainbow loom, Montreal in winter, and finally being back onstage!

Éléonore Crépin (she/her)

Éléonore Crépin is a 20 year old actress and vocalist. Although her music background has been strictly classical voice, she has always had a passion for musicals. Even if it wasn’t part of her program, she would always try to sneak in a musical theatre song in her studies. As an opera student, she was part of two opera productions: Ciboulette (Antonin) and Dido and Aeneas (Belinda). She is ready and excited to be part of her first musical theatre production as the character of Mother.

Duncan Bain (he/him)

Duncan is a sometimes actor, occasional musician, and frequent human being. When he isn’t reading or writing for his studies at Concordia’s Liberal Arts College, he can usually be found doing silly voices, listening to the Beatles, or eating food that his roommate cooked. Often described as a “theatre kid” in his youth, Duncan is thrilled to be treading the boards once again in the AUTS production of HAIR, and hopes that it might at last earn him the title of “theatre man.”

Noa Irene lives in the Mile End. She enjoys cemeteries and sequinned bathing suits. She could not be happier to be a part of this beautifully provocative production!

Corbeau Sandoval (he/they)

Born and raised in Montreal (the unceded traditional territory of the Kanien’kehà:ka known as Tiohtiá:ke), Corbeau Sandoval (he/they) has been an artist at heart from the beginning. From music to drawing to animation and now to the stage, they've explored many ways of artistic expression that have propelled them to solidify themself as a theatrical artist through their stay at Dawson College. Most notably, they’ve had the chance to play as Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, compose original music for the production After Fuenteovejuna, and present both original works and musical performances at their end of year graduate showcase.

Maria Jiminez (she/her)

Maria Jimenez is an actress and musician based in Montréal and originally from Vancouver, Canada. She's so excited to be back with AUTS for a 2nd time in Hair this year after playing the Witch in the company's production of Into The Woods in 2018. She completed her BMus at McGill University with a specialization in Composition and Jazz Performance: Voice in 2021. She also was recently nominated at the 2022 METAs for Outstanding Emerging Artist and Outstanding Ensemble in Geordie Production's The Paperbag Princess after going on tour with the company in their 2021/2022 2Play Tour.

EMANUELLE RANGER is a Montreal-based actress with training in theatre, dance & singing. A member of Intentional Dreams Productions, a realistic school of acting, she also continues to train, participating in many acting workshops: with Ben Ratner in Vancouver, John Strasberg in New York and Dylan Brown in London to name a few. In her most recent performance she takes on the role of Denise in Problem Child (v.f.), a play by George F. Walker, directed by Max Laferriere and presented at Plateau Théâtre. She’s thrilled to join McGill’s Arts Undergraduate Theatre Society for the upcoming production of Hair!

Sarah is a first year Acting for the Theatre student at Concordia and is thrilled to be a part of Hair this year with AUTS. Her recent work includes carried away on the crest of a wave (Agent Nguyen/Costume Design) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hippolyta) at McMaster University, where she received a BA in English and Theatre. She is immensely excited to be returning to the stage and can’t wait to let the sunshine in with her fellow cast and crew!

Dominic has been doing music for as long as he can remember and has been introduced to musical theater until later in his music studies. He decided to leave the conservatory, put his trombone aside to go and graduate from the musical theatre program at Collège Lionel-Groulx. "Hair" will be his third production since graduating in 2021! He is more than happy, even more enthusiastic to participate with AUTS to get back on stage and do what he loves.

Katie Carleton is very excited to be a part of the Arts Undergraduate Theatre Society’s production of Hair! Katie is a freshman student at McGill hailing from Manitoba, where they were an avid member of many Winnipeg theatre companies and have been performing since the age of 10. In their free time, Katie is also an ardent reader!

Prerna Nehta is a 21 year old creative whose art currently lies in acting, directing, and educating. Toronto born, she is currently based in Tiohtia:ke/Montreal and is a 4th year student in Acting for the Theatre in the Department of Theatre at Concordia University. Prerna’s passion and work lies in love, growth, relationships, queerness, and connection. Their performance creation centers around finding the truth in these various aspects of life and her practice is inspired by the intimacy, beauty, fantasy and difficulty in the everyday life. She hopes to bring candor and comfort to those who come across her work.

Hi! I am a second year ACTT student at Concordia. I have loved musical theatre ever since I was introduced to it at 10 years old! As well as acting, I use all that I’ve learned to write and direct my own work that captures my experience with queerness, spirituality, as well as my connection to my Lebanese culture. In recent years, I’ve developed a passion for teaching as well. In my free time, I teach dancing, singing and direct musicals for sprouting young artists. I am so honoured to be a part of Hair and can’t wait to learn from this wonderful cast and crew!

Julia has loved musical theatre since she was a little girl. Her theatre debut was in Shrek the Musical, and since then has falling in with the theatre atmosphere. Julia was also in Titanic the Musical and started her AUTS journey last year in Sweet Charity. Julia finds joy from being on stage and is very excited to be in the AUTS’s production of Hair.
